It's common knowledge among football fans: once a player reaches 30, he's past it.
Just look at Cristiano Ronaldo's performance in today's Madrid derby. Most people are going to focus on Atletico Madrid 4-0 thrashing of Real's Galacticos.
Not us. We're going to concentrate on the fact it was Cristiano's 30th birthday last week. It seems that the man who was the world's best footballer in his 20s is rubbish in his 30s.
Just look at the visual evidence of the old man's display today:
"Can I get a blanket for my legs? There's a terrible draught down here"
"Look - there's a free seat up there! I might go and have a little sit down"
"Damn, my back hurts. I could be lying on a bed of money right now…"
Obviously we're joking - Ronaldo has clearly got a few years left in him yet. But then we saw this tweet, showing what Real Madrid's main man ACTUALLY did in today's 4-0 defeat.
