Real Madrid’s Gareth Bail Glad To Be Playing With Cristiano Ronaldo
Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale has claimed that Cristiano Ronaldo’s return from suspension will give his team a boost this weekend.
The Welshman said how excited he is to be playing with his star teammates again after the Portugese player picked up a two-match suspension for kicking out against Cordoba in January.
“Obviously Cristiano is a massive player for us and to have him back will obviously be a big bonus. Looking forward to having him back on the pitch and hopefully keep winning,” Bale said in an interview with Real Madrid sponsor Bwin.
Bale went on to praise his in-form teammate, Karim Benzema, before concluding by saying that his team is hoping to win the league this season.
“He (Benzema) is playing very well at the moment and hopefully he'll continue scoring goals and playing well for the team,” Bale added.
“The aim is to win the league. And, we're in a great position at the moment but we'll keep fighting to take three points every match. Take it game by game and hopefully at the end of the season we'll be champions,” he concluded.
