Heated exchange: Jordan Henderson clashed with Chelsea bad-boy Diego Costa
Jordan Henderson is used to fighting for a top-four spot, and the Liverpool midfielder has been brushing up on his boxing skills with a bit of help from Amir Khan.
The England star clashed with Chelsea bad-boy Diego Costa during a Capital One Cup tie last month and was also involved in a heated exchange with Everton duo James McCarthy and Steven Naismith in last week's Merseyside derby draw.
Henderson celebrated Tuesday night’s 3-2 win against Tottenham by hooking up with boxing champion Khan at Liverpool’s Melwood headquarters the following day.
The 24-year-old was given some lessons by the Bolton-born boxer during a sparring session, then returned the favour on the football field.
