'Cristiano Is Raring To Go'

Cristiano Ronaldo Is Back and Motivated For The Derby

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti believes that Cristiano Ronaldo is ready to go after successfully serving his two games suspension.
The Portuguese superstar missed Los Blancos’ last two matches after being sent off against Cordoba, but now will have to help guide his side to their first victory against Atletico Madrid this season.
Ancelotti has a depleted squad, as the likes of Sergio Ramos, James Rodriguez and Pepe are set to miss the all-important derby, but he will be boosted by the fact that Ronaldo is fit and fired up.
"He is motivated as usual,” Ancelotti told AS.
“He's in great shape, a week of training has been good for him and he is as motivated as ever from what I can see.”
The Italian admitted to the media that they are a little light due to the injuries, but insisted that he wants to focus on the ones he has available, such as Isco.
“He (Isco) is in great form in my opinion,” he added.
“Since the beginning of the season my thoughts about what he is capable of doing have changed.
“He is well aware of that, he knows what he has done to carve out the position he has now. He works very hard in defence and plays for the team. At the moment he is an essential player for us”.
Real Madrid haven’t beaten Atletico Madrid in their last five matches this season, but with Ronaldo back they will be hoping to change that this weekend.
