Perfect fit: Foster is confident Fletcher will have a positive impact on Albion
Darren Fletcher is being tipped to inspire West Brom to safety and improve Albion hugely according to Ben Foster.
Baggies boss Tony Pulis failed on deadline day with moves for Carlton Cole and Martin Olsson.
But he landed Scotland international midfielder Fletcher on a free transfer from Manchester United after he agreed a two-and-a-half-year contract.
England keeper Foster previously played with Fletcher at Old Trafford and insists he will be a sure-fire hit at The Hawthorns.

Battle: Foster and the Baggies face a fight to stay up
Foster said: “He’s a good lad - a perfect fit for Albion. He’s somebody we know we can rely on, a good solid citizen. He will be professional and it can only benefit the lads at the club.
“He captains his country and has about 350 games for Man United at a time when they were at their most dominant, winning trophies domestically and in Europe.
“We’re happy to have him here and very lucky too. It makes everyone raise their standards. He will do that here - just like the gaffer has. He will raise our standard by 10 per cent.
“He’s aggressive, a winner, he wants to tackle, win every ball, he will want to get on the ball and show what he can do.”
