After a week of transfers and FA Cup drama, thoughts return to league matters this weekend with two big derbies on the schedule
After a week of transfer deals and FA Cup replay drama, the Premier League returns with a bang on Saturday with not one, but TWO huge derby matches.
First up, it's Spurs and Arsenal battling for North London bragging rights at White Hart Lane, before attentions turn to the Merseyside derby later in the day.
But there are plenty of other stories to watch this weekend. Will Burton picks out the key issues:
Tim Sherwood in the stands at QPR
It seems all but certain that former Spurs boss Tim Sherwood will be the man to take the helm at Loftus Road on a long term basis following Harry Redknapp's resignation on Tuesday.
But while Les Ferdinand and Chris Ramsey take charge of the team for the visit of Southampton, as much attention will be focused on the stands as on the pitch.
Expect to see a deeply pensive expression on Sherwood's face if Rangers find themselves on the end of another home defeat.
It is also worth keeping an eye on the QPR club shop to see if they've started stocking Rangers-branded gilets - that would be as clear a sign as any.
