Kevin De Bruyne's Chelsea career never really took off. The always-in-need-of-suncream Belgian didn't get much of a shot at Stamford Bridge.
Still, it worked out for everyone in the end. Despite only a handful of first team appearances between 2012 and 2014, Chelsea still got Wolfsburg to pay £18m for his services… and De Bruyne left with one key lesson learned.
Never give ballboys an easy ride.
In the final few minutes of Wolfsburg's 1-1 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt, De Bruyne wanted the ball back pretty quickly - and so felt justified in yelling at the ballboy. His exact bellow at the Under-16 Eintracht player:
"Give me the ball, you motherf****r!"
Charming. Seeing as he shouted at the teenager in English rather than German, we're assuming he picked up this behaviour at Chelsea. After all, the Blues have a track record with ballboys.…
