Reports: FC Barcelona Join Paul Pogba Chase
FC Barcelona will reportedly challenge Real Madrid in the chase for Juventus star Paul Pogba during the summer.
Despite the Catalan giants’ ban from any transfer activities until 2016, they could reportedly sign Pogba or any other player but only register them in January.
Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo claims Barcelona are not prepared to miss out on Pogba’s signature due to the transfer ban and will exploit a "loophole" in their sentence to sign several quality players.
However, It seems as Barcelona will have to fend off stiff competition from their Spanish rivals Real Madrid, who will reportedly go all-in for the 21-year-old - as well as Manchester United, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.
Mundo Deportivo also claim that Barcelona would turn to Real Madrid’s Isco if they miss out on Pogba’s signature.
Pogba’s value has risen significantly since his free move from Manchester United to Italy, and he is being regarded as one of the most expensive transfer targets in football right now.
The Frenchman has won two Serie A titles since joining Juventus in 2012, scoring 22 goals and assisting a further 20 in 115 games.
